Working within our Professional Services group, you will play an essential role in deploying, integrating, and optimizing technology that safeguards lives, property, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities for System Engineer in Professional Services
- Review infrastructure requirements and setup in various environments
- Lead the installation, implementation, and support of complex IT systems for healthcare clients, including on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Collaborate closely with customers, project managers, and technical teams to translate healthcare requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Configure and integrate software platforms, ensuring seamless communication between clinical, operational, and administrative systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve system issues, offer proactive solutions, and provide detailed documentation throughout the project life cycle.
- Contribute technical expertise to client on-boarding, go-live activities, and ongoing optimization projects.
- Participate in system health monitoring, incident management, test execution and performance metrics analysis.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for customers and colleagues to maximize system effectiveness.
Required Qualifications for Professional System Engineering Roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in system engineering, solution implementation, or IT operations, ideally within healthcare, enterprise, or mission-critical environments.
- Strong technical skills in Windows Server environments, visualization, networking, and databases (SQL, PostgreSQL etc).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Scandinavian language, both spoken and written.
- Eligibility to work in the EU/EEA with a single European citizenship/passport, due to client requirements.
Additional Skills and Preferred Experience for System Engineers
- Experience in professional services, client-facing roles, or complex project delivery in regulated sectors.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar) and hybrid system architectures.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and privacy best practices in healthcare IT environments.
- Hands-on experience with system monitoring tools, logging platforms (such as ELK, Splunk), or ITIL-based service management systems.
- Ability to contribute to architectural and design discussions within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
